The CASA Senior Center is looking for people who will walk a mile or a little more to help feed hungry seniors and homebound in the Prescott Valley area.

The Mayors' March for Meals, a national effort, will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 31. Mayor Harvey Skoog will lead participants on a walk of less than two miles to highlight the problem of senior hunger. Walkers will obtain pledges to benefit the Prescott Valley Meals on Wheels program.

After the walk, participants and sponsors will be treated to a Pancakes and More breakfast at the center. Those who would like to enjoy the breakfast and entertainment by Mark Belleau also are welcome for a donation of $5.

Participants may solicit pledges from local businesses or private individuals to support the fundraising effort. For information on how to become a walking partner, sponsor or friend of CASA, call 928-772-3337.
