Tony Bimuller, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 16, 2012, after a valiant four-year battle with lung cancer.
Tony was born in Nemetker, Hungary, and immigrated to Akron, Ohio, at age 6. He has been in Arizona since 1977. He graduated Hoban High School in 1963. He was a meat cutter for more than 45 years and an avid treasure hunter.
Tony leaves behind his wife of almost 45 years, Kathy, and children Donnie, Lori (Jamie) Buchanan and Lisa Bimuller. He also leaves behind the loves of his heart, his grandchildren, Ashli Kate and Taylor Bimuller and Jacob, Joshua and Emma Buchanan.
Tony also leaves his mother, Anna Bimuller, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Maureen (Nick) Polanski, Andrew Markovich, Michele (Ernie) Calhoun, Louise (Mick) Papp, Ed, Steve and Joe Markovich and Regina Hill. He considered them all brothers and sisters. He has 24 nieces and nephews and 25 great-nieces and great-nephews. Also left behind are Tony's Aunt Lotti and Uncle Willie Tedio, and his many good friends.
Tony is preceded in death by his father John and his brother Erv.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at St. Germaine Catholic Church, 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The American Cancer Society or Good Samaritan Society Prescott Hospice, 1065 Ruth St., Prescott, AZ 86301.
