Teens' Closet will be conducting a sale from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11 at the American Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall at 1085 Scott Drive in Prescott to benefit teens in need in the Quad-city area, said Krystal Koons, founder of Teens' Closet.

New and like-new clothing items for women, including some for children, will be available ranging from 25 cents to $1.50 for most items, Koons said.

All proceeds from the clothing sale will benefit Teens' Closet, and shoppers are asked to bring their own shopping bags, Koons said.

For more information about the sale, call 928-713-2306.

Anyone wishing to donate new clothing can find drop-off bins in front of The Rock across the street from Prescott High School, inside ALC, and at the new location for Teens' Closet, 717 White Spar Road in Prescott, Koons said.

"Also, please remember Teens' Closet when your kids are cleaning out their closets," Koons said. "We accept donations of new or like new clothing for teens at the same bins. Thank you for helping teens in need in the Quad-city area."

Their new location on White Spar Road provides free new and like-new clothing, shoes, and accessories for teens in need, and teens should schedule an appointment for a private shopping experience, Koons said.

Teens who would like more information should talk to their school nurse, counselor or principal, call or text 928-583-4374 or email teenscloset2011@gmail.com.

Teens' Closet will also hold a spaghetti luncheon fundraiser from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30 at American Lutheran Church. Guests will be served spaghetti, salad, garlic toast and brownies by ALC Youth. The cost is $10 per person, $15 a couple, and $20 for a family of four. All proceeds will go to Teens' Closet to buy new undergarments, shoes and clothing, Koons said.

The ALC youth band will play during the luncheon, ALC Youth will model fashions from Teens' Closet, and volunteers will be recognized for their work, Koons said. Guests are asked to please RSVP to American Lutheran Church at 445-4348.

Teens' Closet could also use donations of money to buy new socks and underwear, coats, jeans, shoes and other items in various sizes, and current styles for teens, Koons said.

Donations are tax deductible; and checks should be made payable to ALC/Teens' Closet and dropped off or mailed to American Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, Prescott AZ 86301.
