Annual Antique Auto Club coming soon; car sale and parts exchange spaces available

The Prescott Antique Auto Club will have its 38th annual car show, parts exchange and Old Engine Fire-Up from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, and from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Watson Lake Park in Prescott.

General admission is $5 per person; ages 15 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

The show cars will be 1987 and older models only. The show is from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The entry fee is $25 per vehicle on Saturday and $5 on Sunday.

The exchange spaces are $50 per space for the weekend and $25 for additional spaces. The state of Arizona Department of Revenue may be on site to charge an additional fee for a license. Setup is between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, and after 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Cars for sale fees are $15 per vehicle, and the area opens at 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Setup from noon to 7 p.m. Friday is $5 extra. All vehicles must be removed from Watson Lake Park by 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Old Engine Fire-Up setup begins Friday afternoon. Spots are available on a first-come basis. This area is for showing old engines, tractors, novelty equipment, semi's, unique vehicles, and so forth.

All participants are responsible for the safety and security of their vehicles, equipment and property. No loud stereos will be allowed. Pet leash laws will be strictly enforced, as will all Prescott Parks regulations.
