Matt Hinshaw/The Daily Courier<br> Emergency workers begin to clear the scene of a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Glassford Hill Road and Centre Court Thursday afternoon in Prescott Valley.

One woman was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after three cars were involved in a collision at Glassford Hill Road near Centre Court shortly after noon on Friday, said Prescott Valley Police Sgt. Brandon Bonney.

A white four-door sedan heading northbound on Glassford Hill Road tried to turn left onto Centre Court but did not yield to traffic, and was struck by a black four-door SUV that later went over the sidewalk and stopped in the bushes, Bonney said.

The woman driving the black SUV was treated by Central Yavapai firefighters and Life Line Ambulance paramedics at the scene, then taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for further treatment, Bonney said.

The white sedan was spinning in the intersection when it was stuck from behind by a four-door silver sedan that was unable to stop in time, Bonney said.

The driver of the white sedan received several citations in the incident, Bonney said.
