4th of July Fireworks, festivities start at 3 p.m.
The Town of Prescott Valley will host its 17th annual Salute to the Red, White & Blue with a Fourth of July fireworks show Wednesday evening at Mountain Valley Park.
Festivities begin at 3 p.m. with the opening of the Freedom Station Inflatable Village, and conclude will the fireworks display at dusk. Musical entertainment, food booths and the beer garden open at 4 p.m.
The event will feature recordings of top artists and a live performance at 6 p.m. by Six Feet on the main stage perched above the synthetic athletic field adjacent to the pavilion.
Admission and parking are free, but the inflatable village requires $10 wristbands that will be for sale on site at the entrance to the baseball/softball complex. Parks and Recreation staff urges attendees to bring a blanket and have a picnic while enjoying the concert in the park.
The town does not allow alcohol, glass containers, enclosed tents, staked pop-up canopies/umbrellasand pets (excluding service dogs). Small umbrellas and umbrella chairs will be allowed. Personal fireworks are banned within Prescott Valley town limits at all times and the ban will be actively enforced.
