The Prescott Police Department arrested three for DUI as part of the Tri-City DUI Task Force's impaired driver detail on Saturday.
Five Prescott police officers worked this detail, paid for by grant funds from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety, said Prescott Police Sgt. Corey Kasun.
The average breath alcohol concentration of the three arrested was 0.172, more than twice the legal limit.
Officers made 50 traffic stops and wrote a total of 79 traffic citations during this operation, Kasun said, adding that the Prescott Police Department and the Tri-city DUI Task Force will continue to operate high-profile enhanced DUI enforcement throughout the year.
