Library, writers' group seek youth short story contest entries

Prescott Public Library and the Professional Writers of Prescott present the 2012 Youth Short Story Contest. Youth, grades 3-12 are invited to submit their short stories now through April 1. Submissions must be accompanied by an entry form. Entry forms and contest rules are available at the Youth Services Desk or online at by clicking on the Kids or Teens links.

Winners will be notified on May 1. The Awards Ceremony and Reception will be Saturday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m. Winning works will be published in a booklet available on May 12, and prizes will be awarded at the ceremony. For more information, contact the library's Youth Services desk at 777-1537.
