Column: 12 ways to help homeless animals in our community
Courtesy photo<br>Clancy is a 2- to 3-year-old male Pomeranian who was hit by a car. X-rays taken at Prescott Valley Animal Hospital allowed YHS to repair a fractured femur. Clancy also sustained a crushed pelvis, which will heal in time, and maybe some neurological damage. These injuries require the help of a special home or rescue organization. Call YHS if you can provide the special care Clancy will need. More than $10,000 in donations came in for an X-ray machine following last week’s article. $30,000 is still needed. An X-ray will allow YHS to quickly provide life- saving services to animals like Clancy. Please consider making a donation to help YHS obtain an X-ray machine.
