The Town of Prescott Valley sends out a call to artists to participate in its successful outdoor public art project called Art at the Center, which is in its seventh year.

Artists must submit an application along with high quality photos to the Parks and Recreation office by the deadline date of March 29. If accepted, the Town will exhibit the durable outdoor sculptures at the Civic Center campus from late May 2012-April 2013, and distribute high quality promotional materials throughout the southwest region.

With nearly 125,000 residents in the Quad-City area and more than 45,000 visitors to the Civic Center annually, artists' work is showcased for a year and can be submitted either for sale or not for sale. An artist reception will take place on May 16.

To request an application, call 928-759-3090, or visit www.pvaz.net under Arts and Culture.
