Military News: Tim Ramos
The Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) Chapter 608, Major. John R. Tapia Ph.D. presented their second Severally Local Wounded Warrior Award to Iraqi Veteran Tim Ramos with a check for $500 presented by Senior Vice Commander Mike Brody in a ceremony at the Vet Center in Prescott. Ramos was a Sergeant E-5 and served with the Military Police (MP) in Iraq when he took a hit to the abdominal which ruptured his kidney, lacerated his liver, and crushed his rib cage. Ramos found himself in an Iraqi bunk civilian hospital and missing in action with his Navy MP unit. Five days later, he was found by two Navy MPS' from his unit, one being his then-girlfriend Krystina E4 BM3 now his wife. Tim and Krystina have two children and are residents of Prescott.
