Each work is accompanied by a fictitious postcard sent to an Arizona friend. The show runs through Feb. 18.

MOUNTAIN ARTISTS GUILD & GALLERY, 228 N. Alarcon St., 776-4009. "Arizona Centennial," highlighting the works of numerous artists, runs through March 31. The gallery's Spotlight Room features watercolor artist Caroline Linscott. The exhibit runs until Feb. 15.

PHIPPEN MUSEUM OF WESTERN ART, 4701 Highway 89 North, 778-1385, The Marley Gallery exhibit "Trappings," featuring more than 80 artisans from 14 states, runs through Feb. 19. The Solon H. Borglum collection features sculptures, furniture, paintings and other objects and memorabilia from Borglum's life on long-term loan.

PRESCOTT COLLEGE ART GALLERY AT SAM HILL WAREHOUSE, 232 N. Granite St., 928-350-2341. "A Place Called Home: Sculptures of Roger Asay and Rebecca Davis. The exhibit is one view through today.

PRESCOTT VALLEY ART GUILD, 3380 N. Windsong Road, 775-4989. Works by Nancy Clauss, pastels, Jimmie Boyce, watercolors and graphics, and Kay Demski, photography, will be on display through April at the Samaritan Society.

RAVEN CAF..., 142 N. Cortez, 717-0009. Works of Maryhelen Ewing, including the human figure, still lifes and landscapes, is on exhibit until Feb. 19.

SHARLOT HALL MUSEUM, 415 W. Gurley St., 445-3122. "A Centennial Canvas: Paintings by contemporary Prescott artists," opens today in the museum's John and Helen Lawler Exhibit Center.

THE SMOKI MUSEUM OF AMERICAN INDIAN ART AND CULTURE, 147 N. Arizona Ave., 445-1230. "Cultural Connections: Cowboys and Indians in Sculpture," featuring the works of Bill Nebeker and Doug Hyde. The show runs until April 28.

STRAIGHT ARROW STUDIOS AND GALLERY, 1724 Willow Creek Road, 925-4970. Works by Everett Davidson.

'TIS ART CENTER AND GALLERY, 105 S. Cortez St., 775-0223. "3 - A Mezzanine Experience," featuring the photography of Scott Heidi, Kim Kapin and Sue Kordish opens today in the Mezzanine Gallery. An opening reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., with another reception planned from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 24 during the 4th Friday Art Walk. The exhibit runs until Feb. 28. "Piece and a Poem," an exhibit where poetry and prose merge with fine art, runs Feb. 22 through March 13, with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 24 during the 4th Friday Art Walk. Prescott artist and author David Saccheri will be on hand during the opening reception to sign his epic fantasy novel, "The Ruins of Evermore - The Time Light Awakenings."
