United Animal Friends is offering reduced adoption fees for cats and kittens on Feb. 11 and 12 in celebration of Kitty City’s first anniversary in Petco.

Kitty City is celebrating its first anniversary at Petco, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 11 and 12. Adoption fees on those two days will be reduced to $55 for adult cats and $55 for kittens.

As part of the festivities, United Animal Friends (UAF) will be selling baked goods and boutique items, and raffling some special items that were donated. The raffle items include gift certificates for carpet cleaning from Keith Brown, one facial and one haircut and style from Superlative Salon, one month membership at Her Fitness, and a haircut by Jennifer Brown from Strada Salon.

UAF thanks Petco for providing the cat adoption room. Over 160 of the cats adopted during the past year were introduced at Kitty City.

In connection with the first anniversary celebration, volunteers will be on hand to collect dog, puppy, cat and kitten food for the UAF Pet Food Bank.
