PRESCOTT - The West Yavapai Guidance Clinic Foundation welcomes a full-time development coordinator. Tina Blake has a background in both government and nonprofit organizations where she facilitated events, special projects and fundraising.
"I'm proud to be part of ensuring quality care for those in Yavapai County with addiction and psychiatric issues," Blake said. "I believe in the critical need to diversify our resources for future generations as a mother, native Arizonan and person concerned with the mental and physical well-being of our society."
Blake's focus for fundraising centers around these four priorities for 2012/2013: Children's Services; Senior Peer Program; Short-term Counseling Program; and Adults with Serious Mental Illness. She is working collaboratively with longtime WYGC staff member Laura Norman to match donor interests with these priorities and create partnerships that improve community health.
