BMHS has many activities on tap for Homecoming Week
The Bradshaw Mountain High School student body celebrates Homecoming Week Sept.12-16 with some new twists on traditional activities. Monday was "Dead Star" or dress like your favorite dead celebrity; Tuesday was Stars of the 80s; Wednesday is dress like a Bradshaw Teacher day; Thursday is Multiples day (dress alike in groups) and Friday is black & red Spirit Day.
Monday's Dodge-ball tournament determined who will face an Admin Team during the Friday afternoon pep assembly. The assembly also features a dance-off between classes.
The Powder Puff game between junior and senior girls takes place at 7 p.m. today on the main football field. Cost is $5 at the gate, with a percentage of proceeds going to either the Red Cross or a charity commemorating the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
Thursday at 8 p.m., the Bonfire event returns, after a one-year absence.
Friday's football game between the Bradshaw Bears and Bullhead City Mohave Thunderbirds kicks off at 7 p.m., with coronation of Homecoming Royalty at halftime.
The Homecoming Dance with its "Star Struck" theme takes place from 8-11 p.m. Saturday at the East Campus for Bradshaw High students. Advance tickets for the dance are $15. Cost is $20 at the door.
