Letter: Reader likes Amster for wrong reasons
Courier columnist Randall Amster has provided me with a lot of entertainment the last couple of years. I look forward to the Letters to the Editor each day, as it often starts me off with a good laugh. I find Amster's columns are the most consistently ridiculous, but like the huge majority of uberliberals, they keep banging the drum of "continue on with something that has never ever worked anywhere in history but let's just keep trying."
Life is odd, though, and much to my surprise, his latest is right on the mark, and I agree with him wholeheartedly. To have killed that mountain lion at Antelope Hills just because it was there is just wrong and unnecessary. It was tranquilized, so why not move it somewhere else. The Mogollon Rim is less than two hours from us and would have provided the lion a good home and removed him from danger of contact with other people.
Keep on with the columns, Randall - even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then. As to me, I also laugh at Barbara Streisand when she talks, but love to hear her sing.
