Mortimer Family Farms, located at Highway 69 and 169 (formerly Young's Farm), donated more than 300 pumpkins to the Yavapai County Food Bank on Oct. 25.

Earlier that day, Sharla Mortimer and volunteers from the community, including Len Marinaccio and Christian Berry, picked pumpkins from Mortimer Family Farms pumpkin patch.

Mortimer presented the pumpkins and a check for $700 to Ann Wilson, executive director and Vicki Sandoval, office manager at the Yavapai Food Bank. The cash funds were raised with the support of nursery staff and attendees of Mortimer Nursery's Autumn Outreach Fair in September.

Mortimer Family Farms is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 12907 E. State Route 169 in Dewey.
