What is it, where is it? - Nov. 8

The correct answer for this past week’s “What is it, where is it?” is: part of the original Fort Whipple gate in front of the Yavapai College Performance Hall in Prescott. Our hint was: “Big gate on campus.”

Kevin Pasciak of Prescott Valley was the first to contact us with the right answer. Nice spotting, Kevin. At the end of the month we’ll put all correct spotters’ names of the weekly “What is it, where is it?” winners together, and one will win a prize from the Courier’s prize stash. Keep guessing, and remember to give “what” it is and “where” it is.

The Daily Courier's Community Page on Tuesdays features "What is it, where is it?" - photographs from the local area that we encourage readers to figure out.

The first person to call or e-mail with the correct answer will get their name in the newspaper the next week along with a more easily recognizable photo of the same scene.

Each winner's name will go into a drawing for a prize that month. Correct respondents will be eligible for the prize only in the month in which they answer correctly.
