Interstate 17 now open
The Arizona Department of Transportation has re-opened northbound Interstate 17 at the Sedona turnoff (Highway 179). ADOT closed the highway near Camp Verde at milepost 298 earlier this morning because of winter weather conditions.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution as temperatures remain near freezing in the Flagstaff area and some snow and ice remain on the roadways in the area.

EARLIER REPORT: The Arizona Department of Transportation reports that Interstate 17 north to Flagstaff is closed until further notice.
The highway is "impassable / road closed" because of the overnight storm, according to ADOT's website. Interstate 17 is closed northbound from mile post 298.0, which is nine-tenths of a mile south of Highway 179.

Interstate 40 : Winter Storm - snow or Ice reported on roadway, EW-bound from mile post 146.0, 0.20 miles West of Highway 89 to mile post 205.0, 0.20 miles east of Walnut Canyon - through today, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.
Interstate 17 : Lane Restrictions - Roadway reduced to one lane. Slow traffic on I-17, NS-bound from mile post 321.50, 1.10 miles south of Pinewood to mile post 323.20, 0.50 miles north of Pinewood. This is expected to last through Friday, Dec. 16.
