Jewelry, gun stolen in Williamson Valley burglary
Nearly $3,000 worth of jewelry and a handgun were taken from a Williamson Valley home burglarized Oct. 28, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
The homeowners left the house in the 1900 block of Pemberton Drive on Oct. 24 and, upon returning, found that a door had been forced open, said YCSO spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn. They called 911 before going inside, believing the burglars might still be there. Deputies checked the home and found no one inside.
The victim reported several pieces of jewelry stolen from the master bedroom, along with a revolver, possibly a .38 caliber, with brown grips.
