Since her twin sister was adopted, Freckles has become a little withdrawn and lonely in her United Animal Friends (UAF) foster home. Her new "fur-ever" household will have to be patient and calm with her, but the effort will be repaid in abundant kitty love and snuggles.
Freckles is nine months old and small for her age, so some of the other cats in her foster home pick on her. However, Freckles has devised a playful game to get back at them. She stays out of sight in the laundry bin, pops up and smacks the tails of the "bullies" when they walk by and then pops back down.
Freckles is very sweet and always waits patiently on the bed beside her UAF foster mom to get her morning petting.
Freckles is a slender domestic shorthair with terrific tabby markings. She tested negative for FeLV/FIV, is up to date on shots, and is spayed. As this week's "Superstar," her adoption fee to an approved home is $20. For more information about this lovely girl, please contact Allie at 632-5144 or email@example.com, or visit Freckles this Sunday at Kitty City in the Prescott Petco. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
UAF is in need of foster homes and volunteers for its many programs. Interested animal lovers should contact UAF volunteer coordinator Jann at 759-3848 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Donations for UAF's foster program can be sent to United Animal Friends, P.O. Box 11133, Prescott, AZ 86304 or can be made online at UnitedAnimalFriends.org. Contributions go towards spay/neuter, medical care and food for fostered pets, as well as other UAF programs.
