Obituary: Cliff Cherry
Cliff Cherry passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on March 2, 2011.
A native Arizonan, he was born to parents who were pioneers of the Verde Valley. He worked in ranching, mining, carpentry and, finally, as an engineer for Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after 32 years.
He appreciated the outdoors through hunting, fishing and camping.
Cliff is survived by his sons, Donald (Elizabeth) and Spencer (Joanne); seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, Ariz.
