PRESCOTT VALLEY - A woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries Monday afternoon after losing control of her car, which crossed over the median at Glassford Hill Road and rolled over on the southbound lane.

The driver was heading north when the accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Glassford Hill Road about one-third of a mile south of Granville Parkway, according to Sgt. Brandon Bonney of the Prescott Valley Police Department. A Life Line ambulance took her to a hospital.

She was wearing a seatbelt, Bonney said.

"It is under investigation and impairment appears to be a factor," Bonney said.

Prescott Valley Police and the Central Yavapai Fire District responded to the accident. Police temporarily closed the northbound lanes of Glassford Hill Road between Spouse Drive and Granville Parkway and diverted southbound traffic onto Granville Parkway and Highway 89A.

Glassford Hill Road also marked the scene of a fatal accident Friday afternoon that involved two 20-year-old men who were ejected from a sport utility vehicle.
