Obituary: Robert M. Moore
Robert M. Moore, first-class gentleman, pilot, husband, brother, father and grandfather, a man of great integrity whose focus was always on his family. He slipped these surly bonds of earth on Sunday June 5, 2011.
He believed in laughter and humor and keeping the child alive in all of us, especially at Christmas. He had a passion for fast cars, airplanes and classic movies. "Was One a good year?"
His legacy lives with his family who survive him, Carolyn his wife and life mate of 55 years and "his reason for living"; sisters Terry Geddes and Patty Scott; brother-in-law Dale Scribner; children Debra (James) Kudelka-Beavers, Robert (Beth) Moore and Lisa (Glenn) Yates; grandchildren Christopher Kudelka, Andrew Kudelka, Jacquelyn Beavers, Ryan (Pam) Beavers, Robert Moore, Krista Moore, Cathy Lewis, Wendy (Matt) McCrae, Brian Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, and Casey Yates; and great-grandchildren Brandon Beavers, Blakely Beavers, Alexander Chalmers-Moore and Joseph Lara. He joins those he loved who preceded him, his father Russell Moore, mother Louise (Moore) Cupp and buddy Anton Kudelka. Oh what a reunion!
No services are planned - rather a perpetual remembrance of his life. He was an example of greatness with the promise of happiness and life's riches. Our legacy; I love you Moore, because I am one! "Captain Moore, this is tower one, you are cleared for take-off. Have a nice flight!"
