Teens "Catch The Wave" at Prescott Valley Library summer events

The Prescott Valley Public Library offers the Catch the Wave summer reading program.

The program is for teens ages 12-18, and will run from May 27-July 27, with six special programs.

Free Game Days will take place at noon every Tuesday and Thursday in the Teen area.

• On June 10, teens can see Justin Unger in a free Christian Rock Concert from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Library auditorium.

• June 15 is a Poster Event at 2 p.m.

• June 29 teens will create a YouTube infomercial film at 2 p.m.

• July 13 is a Photo Shoot Contest to win free Harkins Theater tickets at 2 p.m.

• July 22 the Prescott Astronomy Club presents a Star Party from 7:30-9 p.m.

• July 27 ends the summer reading party with a free bowling and pizza party at noon.

By reading books, teens can earn prizes such as bowling passes, tickets to Freedom Station, surprise grab bags, and books.
