I volunteer at PAWS (Prescott Area Women's Shelter). During the summer, the shelter is often short of meal providers, so we thought pizza would be a good Friday night meal. We called Mama Edda's on North Cortez Street and ordered three pizzas, asking if they would discount the prices because we were donating them to the shelter. They said, "No, we won't discount them - we'll give them to you free."
We and the guests greatly enjoyed their gourmet pizza. Having lived in Chicago and enjoyed the pizzas there often thought to be the world's best, Mama Edda's is as good or better.
Our thanks to Mama Edda's for their generosity. We encourage everyone to try the pizza of this small business, as it represents what is really great about our town.
