Nonprofit group YCCF gets new leadership

Carol Chamberlain will manage the Yavapai County Community Foundation, replacing Traci Corey, who resigned from the post in May.

Chamberlain has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and formerly worked as chief executive officer of the Greater Southwest Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona.

Michael Bacigalupi, Sharon Block and Tracey Horn have been elected to the YCCF advisory board.

Bacigalupi originally began working with the board in 2006. He worked as treasurer and vice-chair before being elected chairperson for 2011.

Block is a Cottonwood resident and licensed social worker who recently was elected as vice-chairperson.

Horn began working as a board member in 2009 and is taking on membership chairperson duties.
