Letter: Columnist needs to blame past officials
Randall Amster's columns are like a car wreck - a total disaster, but I just can't look away. I appreciate his concern about the condition our great state is in. He really attacked (oops, sorry, taboo word... oh wait, a liberal did it so it is OK - whew!) our state officials. And rightly so.
But since he is still blaming America's same problems on Bush, I hope he'll lay a bit of the blame on our previous administration (led by Gov. Napolitano) who had a hand in this. They were also making ends meet by writing checks from the next year's taxes. And when the economy crashed, so did the checks.
I'm looking forward to Amster's next column, because our $2 billion deficit pales in comparison to our current federal administration's $1.5 trillion deficit. I'd better end this before it increases another trillion.
