Obituary: Sylvia Loper
Sylvia Loper, 85, was born in Burdette, Ark., on July 16, 1926, to Wesley and Mabel Bennett. Sylvia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 18, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Mabel Bennett, a brother, Wesley Bennett Jr., and husbands William Duncan and Woodrow Loper.
Sylvia is survived by her two children, a son, Edward (Connie) Duncan of Phoenix, Ariz., and daughter Dianne (John) Dougan of Prescott, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Clint Dougan, Chad (Kelly) Dougan, and Cassie (Ben) Baker all of Prescott, Corey Duncan, Ian Duncan, and Catlin (Kyle) Clark, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; six great-grandchildren Candace, Kaden, Riley, Lexi Dougan, Makenzie and Jacob Baker of Prescott; two sisters, Jean Wisdom of DeWitt, Ark., and Margret Ryan of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Dale (Edna) and Doyle (Bobbie) Bennett of DeWitt; and a sister-in-law, Cora Lee Bennett, of Arkansas.
Sylvia was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She led her life by example, instilling Christ's love and compassion to all. Sylvia is spending Christmas with Jesus, singing and rejoicing with the Angels. Sylvia will be missed by all but never forgotten. You will be forever in our hearts.
A small memorial for family and close friends will be on Jan. 7, 2012.
