George and Beth Lewis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 3. George has retired from a 35-year practice in pediatric medicine, and Beth has retired from 35 years in nursing, mostly in obstetrics and gynecology. They moved to Prescott upon retirement in 1997. George has pursued an interest in fine art photography and Beth is active in the Prescott Art Docents. This will be the 11th year George has served as superintendent of the photography display at the Yavapai County Fair. They credit their lasting marriage to their love and commitment to each other. They share their love with their two daughters, Paulette and Julie; their son David; and three grandchildren.
