Paramedics flew one person with serious injuries to John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix after a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of highways 69 and 169 near Dewey-Humboldt late Saturday morning.
Central Yavapai Fire District spokesman Gary Cordes said the accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. and that four other people in the vehicles suffered minor injuries.
The seriously hurt individual was a driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, Cordes added. That person's name and condition was unavailable at press time.
Cordes said that the collision occurred when one vehicle allegedly turned too quickly in front of the other at the intersection.
