Yavapai Humane Society needs your website clicks for ASPCA top prize of $100,000
The Yavapai Humane Society, the only Arizona shelter in the qualifying heat for the ASPCA $100K Challenge, is seeking statewide support to compete for grants totaling $300,000 and a top prize of $100,000.
"All of us wish that we could donate a substantial amount of money to our favorite charities," said Ed Boks, executive director of the Yavapai Humane Society. "By simply clicking a mouse, our supporters can do just that."
Just 92 shelters were selected nationwide and Yavapai Humane Society is the only shelter competing in Arizona.
Everyone in the state can support YHS by voting online at www.votetosavelives.org through Friday, April 15, said Missy Paschke-Wood, director of marketing and development.
Paschke-Wood suggested people encourage their friends, family and neighbors to do the same.
The 2011 ASPCA $100K Challenge is a nationwide competition for animal shelters (and their communities) aiming to get more animals adopted or returned to their owners than ever before.
