Plenty of parking for Bluegrass Fest
Mike Rhodes, Hi-Country Bluegrass Festival sponsor, cleared an additional 3-acre space for parking at Arcosanti in preparation for the big Bluegrass Festival this month. Arizona Public Service also helped the Arizona Highway 69 Chamber of Commerce solve its parking worries for the festival when the company donated 200 tons of road gravel it needed to dispose of from its 6-month power line project. APS also provided two backhoes and a grading tractor to help prepare the parking area. "The result is a large and ample parking area," said festival committee member Jerry Schultz. The Hi-Country Bluegrass Festival will feature several top bands, vendors, food and jammin' at the event to take place at Arcosanti on April 6, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. For more information call the Chamber at 928-632-4355 or email highway69 firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.arizonahighway69chamber.org.
