Heritage Middle School seeks nominations for its annual Hall of Fame award

Heritage Middle School invites the citizens of Chino Valley to nominate someone they feel has contributed to the Heritage of Chino Valley Youth for the "2011 HMS Hall of Fame Award" - Deadline is April 28!

Each year Heritage Middle School recognizes people in the community that have played a major role in contributing to the development of the children in Chino Valley. The first recipients, back in 1989 were Alford Pott, a long time member of the CVUSD's Board of Trustees, and Lucy Bates, who volunteered her home as a place for social and recreational activities for the youth of Chino Valley. Over the years many school employees, volunteers, board members have been nominated but there have also been parents, community leaders, town librarians, little league coaches, and even a judge.

It is time once again for HMS to ask for nominations for this year's Heritage Middle School Hall of Fame Award. Is there a person you know that goes that extra mile to make sure the children of Chino Valley are safe, or well fed, learn how to play a sport or has dedicated their time in any other way to our children? Well, that's exactly the kind of person we're looking for!

Please send your nominations to Heritage Middle School, PO Box 225, Chino Valley, AZ 86323 or come by or call 928-636-4464 and ask to speak to our Principal, Scott Muir, the Assistant Principal, Mike Fogel, or the school secretary, Mary Bailey. We are located at 1076 North Road 1 West. Deadline is Thursday, April 28, 2011.

Nominations should include your reasons for nominating the person (150 words or more) and your contact information, name and phone number.
