The small "ghost town" of Crown King is inviting the public to an Oktoberfest celebration Saturday.
The event starts at noon on the Crown King General Store patio and includes live music by the Bradshaw Mountain Boys, grilled brats, German potato salad, sauerkraut and cold beer.
The Crown King Historical Society will feature an historical display at noon to 4 p.m.
The tiny main street's newest shop, the Mother Lode Antique Emporium, will be among the businesses open for the Crown King Community Association event.
Crown King, a small former mining community, is located deep in the Bradshaw Mountains about 20 miles south of Prescott.
