In the pink

Prescott Frontier Days Inc. and the World's Oldest Rodeo recently donated another $1,000 worth of Fry's gift cards to the American Cancer Society resource center in the quad-city area. This money was raised through the national rodeo Wrangler Tough Enough to Wear Pink program.

In the past five years, Prescott Frontier Days has provided almost $20,000 in support of local cancer patients. In addition, this year the rodeo organization donated another $2,000 toward the new Breast Care Center at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. The local cancer resource center is presently located at Arizona Oncology on Windsong Drive in Prescott Valley and offers free services for patients, families and caregivers.
