Police Report: Three arrested on charges of drug possession
Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking officers arrested three people Monday on charges including possession of dangerous drugs at a Prescott home where they've served a search warrant twice in the past six months, a spokesman said.
P.A.N.T. officers served a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Virginia Street in an ongoing investigation involving Shawn Michael Petrie and drug sales of methamphetamine and marijuana, said Sgt. James Gregory, spokesman for Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking.
"We received information from an informant about drug sales," Gregory said. "Petrie has an extensive drug history."
Officers found 5.5 grams of methamphetamine and 14.5 grams of marijuana as well as packaging materials at the home, Gregory said.
Officers booked Sean Michael Petrie, 36, of Prescott into the Camp Verde jail on charges of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers arrested two other occupants of the home and booked them into the Camp Verde jail on charges of possession of dangerous drugs.
"We're not releasing the names of the other people arrested at this time," Sgt. Gregory said.
