Chino Valley planners to hear proposal for 19-space RV park
The Chino Valley Planning and Zoning Commission Thursday will hear residents' comments about John Meurs' request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a 19-space recreational vehicle park on eight-tenths of an acre at the Country West Mobile Home Park.
The commission's meeting is at 6 p.m. in the Chino Valley Senior Citizens Center, 1021 W. Butterfield Road.
The proposed RV park will be located at 815 E. Road 2 North, a Development Services spokesman said.
In other business, the commission will hold three other public hearings to discuss:
A proposed amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance.
It states, "In no case shall right-of-way or public street of the public use access system, as required by this UDO, be considered as creating non-conforming lots or prevent such lots from legally being split as otherwise governed in this UDO due to loss of area as a result of such requirements."
Corey and Robin Mendoza's request to rezone property at 864 and 868 E. Road 4 North, which is about 300 feet east of Highway 89, from Agricultural/Residential five acre minimum to Commercial Heavy. The Mendozas own C&R Trucking.
Bob Readhimer's request for a Conditional Use Permit to put up a free-standing monument sign, which includes a light emitting diode message reader board.
The sign is proposed to be built in front of Grace Baptist Church, 2010 S. Highway 89.
