Bradshaw team gears up for Regional track meet

The host Bradshaw Mountain Bears placed first in 15 of 17 events and beat the visiting Prescott Badgers 97-53 in this past Wednesday's track meet in Prescott Valley.

The Lady Bears lost 88-50 and won 3 events - two of those by senior Sarah Moore in field events.

The dual meet was a good warm-up on a warm day for the West Valley Region Meet, which started yesterday at Raymond S. Kellis High School.

Placing first for the gents were: 3200 relay team, 8:48.36; 400 relay team, 44.30; Chase Sullins, 110m hurdles, 16.22; Jesus Escalara, 1600m, 4:56.63 and 3200m, 10:59.49; Ryan Madler, 400m, 54.72, and 800m, 2:21.69; Kevin Wallace, 300m hurdles 43.29, and triple jump, 37-feet-8, and high jump 5-feet-10; Kevin Jensen, 200m, 23.14; Jeffrey Dougherty, long jump, 18-feet-1; and Dallas Sandberg, shot put, 51-feet-9, and discus, 135-feet-11.

First place among Bradshaw ladies went to: Sarah Moore, discus, 101'11" and shot put, 29'5.5"; and Jordyne Duncan, 100-m. hurdles, 19.64.
