Police Report: Four seriously hurt in collision near Skull Valley
Four people suffered apparent non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle head-on collision late Saturday afternoon on Iron Springs Road near the Skull Valley Cemetery, roughly 20 miles west of Prescott.
Yavapai County Sheriff's Office media relations coordinator Dwight D'Evelyn said Saturday night that paramedics flew a 71-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman to John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix.
A child under the age of 18 was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, while an ambulance took a young boy to Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott.
The accident happened at 4:23 p.m. and closed the intersection of Iron Springs and Contreras roads for several hours. D'Evelyn said sheriff's deputies diverted traffic around the accident.
