Obituary: Beatrice (Allen) Bell
Beatrice died early Monday morning, March 8, 2010, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center East Campus with her daughters by her side. She was born May 21, 1919, in Adrian, Mich.; the daughter of Harvey and Allie (McClure) Miller. Beatrice was 90 years old.
She was a member of the Prescott Community Church, and American Legion Auxiliary of Ernest Love Post #6 in Prescott. She loved dancing, eating out and reading as well as spending time with her family and friends. Beatrice was proud of her family.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clinton M. Allen, and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy (Allen) Frame and her husband Ken of St. Peters, Mo., Debra (Allen) Nowakowski and her husband Ralph of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren, Eric, Ryan and Scott; and great grandchild, Alex. Beatrice also is survived by her loving and caring companion, Charles Bell of Prescott.
A Celebration of Beatrice's Life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at AZ Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton streets in Prescott.
The family suggests contributions be made to the USO Headquarters, Department WS, P.O. Box 96860, Washington, D.C. 20090-6860.
AZ Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
