YBBBS Child of the Week: Paul
Meet Paul. He is seven years old and lives in a home with his mother, younger brother, his grandparents and his great-grandma.
Paul is extremely smart. When he was first enrolled in school they put him right into first grade, in spite of the fact that he didn't know how to read at the time. He learned to read quickly, and is a great reader. He likes school and has lots of friends.
In his free time, he likes to play video games. And he and his friends like to play music, hang out and eat. He would like to learn how to play the guitar. Paul is taking kung fu and his mom is teaching him life skills. He also attends church often with a neighbor. When he grows up, Paul would like to be a police officer.
Paul would be best matched with a Big Brother or a couple who would spend time with him and share his love of music. Someone who is active and will introduce him to new activities would be great. Paul would like a Big Brother who he can talk to and share interests with. His mom would like him to be matched with a Big Brother who would simply spend time with him.
