Obituary: George Michael Ruprich

George Michael Ruprich, age 84, passed away on June 15, 2010 in Prescott, Ariz. He was born on June 25, 1925 in Detroit, Mich. to Eva (Grundell) and Peter Ruprich.

George is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marjorie (Herschelman) Ruprich; his children, Linda (Bill) Reynolds of Hancock, Mich., Michael (Dianne) Ruprich of Claredon Hills, Ill. and Susan Dykeman (Jim) Burton of Prescott, Ariz.; his grandchildren, Bill and Julie Reynolds, Mike and Jennifer Ruprich, Bob and Wes Dykeman, and Patrick and Olivia Burton; a sister Helen (Ruprich) Grose; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

George was a veteran of the Korean War and had a 25-year career at Ford Motor Credit Company. He followed most sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings, and was an avid card player.

A Celebration of George's life will be at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans.
