Program helps child care providers
Buena Vista Children's Services, Inc. recruits and helps certify professional childcare providers for the Yavapai County area and is now seeking people interested in becoming providers in their own homes.
Buena Vista helps people become a Department of Economic Security (DES) Certified Child-Care provider, everything from the required fingerprints to home inspections.
Applications are processed at no charge. A "Professional Certified Child Care Provider" allows people to work in their own home caring for as many as four children. Providers receive compensation, and their name is listed with Child Care Resource & Referral and other local Arizona DES offices for referrals.
Buena Vista Children's Services, Inc. does not provide licensing with Arizona Department of Health Services, but rather assists providers through the certification process for DES.
Buena Vista is a non-profit 501(c)3 Arizona corporation, the leading children's agency serving the Yavapai, Navajo and Apache counties.
