Owner seeks bikes stolen from Prescott garage

A Prescott man told police someone stole two bikes from his garage in the 1800 block of Forest Meadow Drive between noon on Thursday and 4 p.m. Friday.

The man said he had ridden one of the bikes and put it up on ceiling hooks at noon on Thursday. When his wife took some items out of the car at 4 p.m. Friday, she realized the bikes were missing, according to the police report.

Police found no forced entry into the garage. However, the man told police that the garage door had been open from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

The man told police he spoke to his neighbors, but none of them had seen anyone near his home when someone stole the bikes.

One of the missing bikes is a white Iron Horse MK III men's mountain bike with black logos that is valued at $1,400.

The other missing bike is a silver Eccell FCR men's mountain bike with 29-inch wheels that is valued at $1,500.
