Prescott police detectives arrested three teens Tuesday on charges of criminal damage, burglary and auto theft.
Detectives questioning a Prescott teenage boy they suspected of doing $4,000 in damage to a car at a North Prescott apartment complex found he had several items reported stolen in recent car burglaries in his possession, said Lt. Ken Morley in the Special Operations Bureau of the Prescott Police Department.
Detectives questioned two other Prescott teens about the vehicle burglaries and found evidence linking them to six car burglaries, the criminal damage incident and a stolen vehicle.
Officers recovered GPS units, iPods, cell phones, radar detectors and other items stolen in the car burglaries.
Officers booked Shane T. Foster, 18, into Camp Verde jail on charges of auto theft, burglary and felony criminal damage. Police booked the other two teenage boys into the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Facility on the same charges.
Officers also charged all three suspects with numerous drug violations, Morley said.
