Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church continues its mid-week Lenten services March 3 and each Wednesday through March 24. Lent, which begins 40 days before Easter, is a time when many Christians observe a period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline. Lenten services at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church are twice each Wednesday evening at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.

The Prescott Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse will meet 9 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at the Sun Gate Villa Senior Community Apartments, 3850 Civic Drive, Prescott Valley. Aglow looks to encourage and to establish a network of praying women.
