News Briefs: Exchange programs seeks students and host families

The Pacific Intercultural Exchange seeks volunteer host families in Chino Valley or Paulden for high school students from around the world, who will be attending local high schools for the 2010-11 academic year.

Students are 15-18 years old and speak English.  Host families can be single parents, empty nesters and families with young children.  Pacific Intercultural Exchange is a non-profit program founded in 1974.  The program works to both sponsor international high school students for an academic and cultural exchange program in the United States and send American students abroad for academic and cultural exchange.
