Obituary: Elsie (Cherne) Michelbrink

Elsie (Cherne) Michelbrink, age 95, passed away on Jan. 30, 2010. She was born in Wheeling, W.Va., on June 25, 1914.

Elsie moved to Cleveland, Ohio, at the age of 18 and was later married in 1937. She worked at Carlisle Allen department store in Painesville, Ohio as a buyer. She and her husband moved to Prescott, Ariz., in 1975.

Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Dell; three sisters; and four brothers. She is survived by her son, Gerald (Joan) Michelbrink; daughter Donna (Stan) Baucher; grandchildren Tim Michelbrink, Jackie Newton, Rebecca Michelbrink, Stan Baucher Jr., Sheryl Edwards and Stephen Baucher; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in the Victorian Chapel at Hampton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice Family Care in Elsie's name. Please visit www.hamptonfuneralhome.com to sign her guestbook.
