Letter: This time, volunteers got dinner from Meals on Wheels

EDITOR:

Nearly 200 people attended the recent dinner by Prescott Meals on Wheels to honor their volunteers. These selfless individuals deliver nearly 50,000 meals annually to the homebound and serve another 23,000 in the Meals on Wheels dining room at the community center.

Entertainment was provided by Earl Wolfe and Tom Winkler, and the Prescott Noon Lioness Club arranged the decorations.

Our organization is grateful for the continued support of our efforts by the community and would like to thank the following businesses for contributing to the success of this event: Prescott True Value, Golden Corral, Wal-Mart Stores, Albertsons, Lowe's, Home Depot, Perfect Events Catering, Shamrock Foods, Ann Badger and the Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff's Posse.
